How large will this export be, what bitrate fits my size limit, and how long could upload take?
File size follows total stream bitrate × duration ÷ eight, with an explicit editable container-overhead allowance. Reverse planning first reserves audio and overhead; YouTube values are dated upload references, not universal quality targets.
Method
The tool shows MB and MiB separately, solves target video Mbps after audio, and divides estimated file bits by user-entered upload Mbps. Half/entered/double-speed scenarios expose connection uncertainty.
Important limitation
VBR files, codec efficiency, source complexity, encoder, platform transcoding and network congestion change actual size, quality and time. Run a short test export and measure real sustained upload speed.
